Sightseeing with Altitude
It is now possible for a person with no previous experience to take a high altitude hang
gliding flight beside a qualified instructor after only 5 minutes of instruction. This is done
using a special two person hang glider. We fly from Mt. Tamalpais, a state park located only 10
miles north of San Francisco! The first time student has the choice to either simply enjoy the
view or take over the controls and fly the glider much of the 3 miles out to the beach. Whether
your goal is becoming a qualified hang glider pilot yourself or merely enjoying one of the best
views California has to offer taking a tandem is the perfect way to go.
