boating experience. Located on the Feather River in the scenic chaparral-oak-pine belt of the northern
Mother Lode country, Lake Oroville State Recreation area offers a wide variety of outdoor activities
including fishing, waterskiing, swimming, camping and hiking.
Lake Oroville is one of the largest lakes in California. With 167 miles of shoreline, Lake Oroville
covers over 15,800 surface acres, and reaches depths up to 695 feet!
