True Western Cattle Drives and Horse Ranching
During our Spring Cattle Drives, we assist numerous neighboring ranchers. Nearly 20 of these families
make up the Upper Green River Cattle Association, known as the “The Drift”. This association of ranchers is
the largest and oldest continuous grazing partnership on federal lands within the United States. This
consortium of 14,000+ head of cows, calves, yearlings, and bulls are driven or ”drift” 30 to 75 miles to and
from their high country summer grazing allotments on the national forest.
