Ant Africa Safaris is run by Ant and Tessa Baber. Anthony was born and brought up in the
Waterberg and has spent most of his life in the bush, his ancestors having settled here in
the late 1800’s, from English and Irish descent. Having hunted since his early years he has
developed his own hunting and photographic safari company (Ant Africa Safaris), based at
Ant's Nest private game reserve, to share his knowledge and skills of the wild.Situated in
the Waterberg, 300 km north of Johannesburg. It’s beauty lies in it’s superb vistas,
mountain gorges, clear streams and rolling bushveld hills, all rich in an enormous variety
of game and plant life. Its dedication to game conservation, temperate climate, peaceful and
safe atmosphere and being malaria free has made the Waterberg a superb hunting and holiday
destination for the hunter, his family and friends.
We offer our guests a completely personal
experience, with maximum flexibility, and total exclusivity given to each hunting party by
our close knit team. You may tailor make your own safari to include any of the following;
hunting on foot or horseback, wing-shooting and photographic safaris.
