Rusty Fly Fishing Charters is a private guide service for fishing the diverse waters around Nantucket
for trophy striped bass, bluefish, bonito and false albacore. With fly rods and light tackle, we pursue
these fish on Nantucket's sand flats, grass beds, rips and shoals, and off the pristine beaches of
Tuckernuck and Muskeget Island. The Rusty Fly is an eighteen foot Hewes Light Tackle skiff, completely
customized for saltwater fly fishing. Its bow platform surrounded by railing and net keeps you and your
fly line on board, allowing safe and snag free casts on even the windiest of days. Expeditions are designed
not only to catch fish but also to help you become a better angler, to give you a unique experience and
greater knowledge of game fish and their environment.
Day and night trips for one to three people last four
hours. All tackle and foul weather gear is provided.
